The Highlands Ranch Library needs a F/T (35 hrs/wk) Patron Service Technician. The position will perform a variety of patron contact duties including actively assisting patrons with finding library materials and with using the catalog, assisting patrons with circulation procedures, and maintaining displays. Our main focus is to provide superior customer service, so top candidates must possess strong experience and skills in this area.

Douglas County Libraries has two P/T (15 hrs/wk ea.) Patron Service Technician (PST) Sub positions available. The positions will report to the Parker and Highlands Ranch Libraries, but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. Special training will be provided for each location. Douglas County Libraries has a P/T (15 hrs/wk) Reference Librarian Sub position available. The employee will report to the Philip S. Miller (Castle Rock) location, but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. Special training will be provided for each location. The position will provide general reference service assistance to patrons of all ages.
Materials Handler Techncian

The Douglas County Libraries has several part-time (15-20 hrs/wk each) openings for Materials Handler Technicians at our Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker and Philip S. Miller Libraries. This is a great entry-level but very important position for our district. The position involves accurately shelving books and library materials, working with our new sorter systems, and maintaining shelf order and appearance.
