We're Looking for Art Judges!

We need people of all ages to vote for their favorite picture in the Teen Self-Portrait Contest. Just stop by the Aloha Teen Tower in the Philip S. Miller Library (100 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock) during library hours between March 1-31 and vote for the masterpiece you like best. Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded on April 1.

• Teen Photo Contest--October 1 – November 14, teens can register and submit any photographs that they’ve taken. The photos that are entered will be displayed in the Aloha Teen Tower at the library from November 15 through December 12 and patrons can vote for their favorite picture. Prizes for the top three winners will be awarded Monday, December 14. Stop by the Aloha Teen Tower at Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock to pick up a copy of the rules and register.
  Oct. 1- Nov. 14 Register and submit photographs
  Nov. 15-Dec.12 Patrons vote for best photo on display
  December 14 Ribbons awarded for top three photographs
• Teen Fashion Design Contest - Registration 7/1/09. Deadline for registration and turning in a design was 8/11/09. Pieces were hung in the Teen Tower and ribbons were awarded 9/21/09.
• Teen Short Film Contest

  Photos and Films
  The Teen Interest Council at Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock narrowed the field to nine films that would be viewed by the public. At the red carpet event, an audience of more than 100 watched nine films made by local teens and voted for their favorite.

• Teen Knitting Contest – Registration 4/1/09. Pieces were hung in the Teen Tower and voting began 6/2/9. Ribbons were awarded 7/1/09.
• Teen Self Portrait Contest – Registration 2/1/09. Pieces were hung in the Teen Tower and voting began 3/1/9. Ribbons were awarded 4/1/09.
