Purpose: Chatfield Nature Preserve, managed by the Denver Botanic Gardens holds 750 acres of native flora and fauna, several distinct ecosystems and a 19th century ranch, farm and one-room school house. Volunteer opportunities include childrens tour guides, historic farm house tour guides, special events and horticulture assistance.
