Denver resident Eric Cahn was 2 years old and living in Mannheim, Germany, when his family was arrested by the Nazis and deported to a concentration camp in southern France. Cahn will talk about the bold move his family made that saved his life.

Reading Buddies pairs teen volunteers with young readers for maximum learning and maximum fun!

Teens ages 13-18, do you like to read? Become a Reading Buddy and read with a reluctant 1st-3rd grade reader. Earn community service hours!

Parents of struggling readers ages 6-9, your child may benefit from reading with a trained teen buddy. Together, they'll play games, choose books appropriate for your child's reading level, read, and review to increase reading comprehension.

Douglas County Libraries now offers library card holders Adventure Pass: free passes to The Wildlife Experience. You may reserve and print passes from your own computer up to 30 days before your visit. Six passes are available for each day; each pass allows six individuals into the museum, $2 off admission to the Extreme Screen Theater, and 10% off purchases in the café and gift shop.
